Teresa Shaw is a widely versatile artist has recorded much Baroque Music for John Eliot Gardiner (including Sorceress in Dido Aeneas) and Philip Pickett  (Spanish Music of the  Conquistadores). She has performed in a number of world and UK premieres including East and West at the Almeida Festival, The Wildman at Aldeburgh and The Death of Klinghoffer in Lyon. Her concert repertoire includes Berio’s Sinfonia and Folk Songs (as a member of Electric Phoenix) and various vocal works by John Adams.
Teresa has played Titania and Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream as well as Helen in King Priam. Television appearances include The Sorceress (Dido & Aeneas) & Bridesmaid (Marriage of Figaro) for Channel 4.  Teresa has performed a  range of roles in musical theatre including Anita (West Side Story), Nancy (Oliver) and Eliza Doolittle (My Fair Lady)
Educated at Manchester University and the Royal Academy of Music, Teresa Shaw has performed as a soloist with major opera companies and orchestras including The Royal Opera, English National Opera, Opera North, the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra and The London Philharmonic Orchestra. Regular broadcasts for the BBC and work with directors such as Jonathan Miller, Tony Parsons, Annabel Arden and Lucy Bailey have drawn critical acclaim.
As a voice artist, she has recorded film and TV soundtracks, including The Hobbit, A Christmas Carol,The Phantom Menace, Kung Fu Panda, City of Joy and The Phantom of the Opera.  Her studio experience encompasses live satellite link up work, recording to film track and live radio broadcast both spoken and sung.
